How to check if a problem of water infiltration
is actually a foundation problem
There is a small easy trick to see if your water
infiltration problem is related to your concrete foundation.
Take your garden hose, place it near the foundation
on the outside (where you suspect there might be a problem) and
let it run for an hour. If water seeps into your basement, it is
that you have a foundation problem, because in principle, a foundation
must be waterproof from the outside.
